NextPBX: Setting up your 24/7 hotline

Login to your NextPBX dashboard.

In the left-hand menu, click on the number you want to setup. Click on Configuration, then click on "Change Application."

You'll see five icons representing the five main applications we have. Click on the Hotline icon in the main window. A dialog box will open. From here you'll be able to set:

  • The first name of the mailbox owner
  • The last name of the mailbox owner
  • The number of rings callers should hear before the hotline answers (recommended: 1)

Click "Save" to exit the dialog box.

Be sure to upload a greeting for the 24/7 hotline.

NOTE: To keep your system in 24/7 Hotline mode, make sure that it is highlighted in the main menu under "Change Application."
